He was very active in his community and joined a variety of clubs, such as the Boys & Girls Club of the city of Passaic.
FROM THE MAYOR
“As a child, I was optimistic; idealistic. I often dreamed about great things that could happen, not just in the city but just in general. I believed that if you worked hard, you could succeed so I often found myself working at jobs that depended on how hard you worked.”
— Hector Carlos Lora, Mayor of the City of Passaic
